Social media: Following any accounts that annoy you or make you feel worse every time you see them? Unfollow them immediately. Thank us later!
Closet: Take any clothes you haven’t worn in the last school year out of your closet. See if a roommate or friend wants them. If not, donate them! (Hint: you can do the same with beauty products!) If you accidentally get rid of something you need later, chances are a friend or roommate has one you can borrow!
Calendar: Running from one thing to the next? Look over your schedule and say no to one thing you are currently doing this week. If that was helpful, try it again next week. You can always add it back in your schedule if you missed it!
Meals: If you cook for yourself, take a look in your fridge and cabinets to see what you have on hand. Write down a few meals that you can make with those ingredients and make a note of anything you need to pick up at the store. Account for any times you will go out to eat (or have leftovers) throughout the week. Put those into your calendar and save some mental space when you come home from class hungry mid-week!
Rest: Does all of your “rest” time look like scrolling on your phone? You’re not the only one! Pencil in some time this week to take a walk, meet up with a friend for coffee or to take a nap. Notice how you feel after one of these activities and if it’s more refreshing than Netflix or scrolling — build it into your weekly routine!
